Airteam hard at work
  • Location-agnostic and competitive pay

Laptop, communications and home-office allowances, novated leasing for EVs, plus salary packaging on mobile, laptop and superannuation contributions.

  • Work-life harmony

Set your own start and finish times, from day one. Wellness plans, flu vaccination refunds, and mental health first aid training are built into how we operate, not offered as an extra.

  • Parent-friendly workplace

A support payment for new parents, and a return-to-work transition built around what actually works for you.

  • Opportunity for growth

An annual $2,000 learning budget and two dedicated days a year, plus a career framework built around your goals.

  • Connection and belonging

Annual team offsite, regular UX and dev rituals, virtual lunch cook-alongs and game sessions - because it’s not all about work.

About us

Since 2016, we've built software for organisations from ASX 100 companies to ambitious startups - a small, senior team that doesn't outsource the work.

Our values

Airteam team members in a workshop.
  • Do the right thing

We’d rather lose a project than recommend the wrong solution. We tell clients when something isn't right for them.

  • Build a strong team

We don’t separate sales from delivery. The people who shape your project are the people who build it.

  • Focus on outcomes

We measure success by what changes for your users and your business, not hours logged.

  • Strive for better

We review our own delivery after every project, changing what didn't work and leaning into what did.

Get in touch
What will I be working on?

You'll work across healthcare, education, government and startups - often building brand-new products from scratch, sometimes solving hard problems inside existing ones.

How can I prepare for an interview?

Come ready to show work you’re proud of and talk through how you approached the problem, the trade-offs you made and what you learned. We review work by screen share and never ask candidates to hand over a copy.

What design tools do you use?

We use Miro for workshops and early ideation, Figma for design, and tools including Askable and Optimal Workshop for research and testing.

What tech stacks do you use?

We primarily work with TypeScript and JavaScript. For web projects we favour React and Next.js; for mobile, React Native and Expo; for APIs, Node.js. We use AWS for project infrastructure and infrastructure as code.

What’s your remote culture like?

Trust, transparency, clear communication and autonomy are fundamental to remote life at Airteam. We work hard to keep the team connected while protecting the ability to disconnect from work.

How long does the hiring process take?

As little as two weeks from first call to offer. Once you accept, we typically need 3 to 5 days for reference checks, work rights verification, and a police check.
