The details

We’re looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Sales Coordinator to turn early market interest into real business opportunities. You’ll enjoy this role if you like being customer-facing, building rapport over the phone, using modern research tools, and working independently with a supportive team.

This fully remote role is part of our distributed Australian team. Success requires an autonomous, initiative-driven mindset, proactive communication, a customer-focused approach, and enthusiasm for hands-on client-facing work.

  • Written & verbal communication: You communicate clearly and professionally by email, phone, and with your team. You share accurate lead information and respond to clients with curiosity and care.
  • Time and workload management: You have an agile mindset and can handle changing priorities. You organise your daily tasks to meet client response targets and balance research with outreach, gathering what you need without slowing down communication.

How you’ll make an impact

You’ll report to the Head of Experience and take the lead in the first stage of our sales process:

  • Inbound lead engagement: Swiftly pre-qualify incoming inquiries (aiming for response times within one business hour) via phone and/or tailored email to evaluate their needs, size and timing requirements.
  • Re-engage warm leads: Systematically follow up with warm leads (who may not yet be ready) using an agreed-upon cadence.
  • Research and targeted outreach: Use LinkedIn, industry sources, and sales tools to find key accounts and decision-makers. You’ll also call warm leads to reconnect and build relationships.
  • Pipeline management and handovers: Create clear handover briefs that explain client needs and timelines. You’ll also schedule discovery meetings for the Head of Experience.
  • CRM integrity: Maintain clear, detailed records of contact details, research notes, call outcomes, and next steps in our CRM.
  • Weekly reporting: Provide a weekly summary of call activity, identified opportunities, and lead status.
  • Monitor gov panels: Monitor government panels and procurement alerts, and send any suitable RFPs to our sales leaders.
